Upon arrival the first thing you notice is the deep, lush, tropical foliage of the resort. The lobby is open air and looks out over the gardens. It is built of local hardwoods and has an informal understated elegance to it. The staff is warm and friendly and have a small town local style to them. Some will want grab a cool drink while others will want to go straight to their room and take a rest from their long flight. Most guests will change into a bathing suit and head straight to the beach.
